Daneen, a free-spirited young woman living with her father, Zahid, and grandfather, Arshad, is at the center of the plot. Areesh is her second cousin, a rich and handsome young man. Sadia Begum, Areesh's grandmother, opposes their love. Daneen's paternal aunt, Nazia, rejected Sadia Begum's older son, Waleed, causing him to commit suicide. As a result, the families developed a feud, influencing Sadia Begum's opposition to Areesh and Daneen's union. Izza is Daneen's first cousin, but she hides her true identity as the series progresses. The tattoo of Areesh's name on Daneen's arm reveals her feelings for him, turning her life upside down.

A series of events follow, including Areesh's engagement to Anya, Altamash's younger sister with an unhappy past. Eventually, Daneen escapes her oppressive marriage and rejoins Areesh, who prioritizes her over his previous relationships. After overcoming obstacles, Altamash and Izza find happiness together after overcoming their obstacles.
