The story revolves around two best friends, Imaan and Rumi, are the exact opposites of each other. While Imaan comes from a privileged background, Rumi does not. Imaan knows the meaning and intensity of emotions involved in a friendship, but Rumi does not. Rumi falls for Imaan’s fiance and is extremely jealous of her. So, she does everything in her power to make them fall apart. Affan’s and Imaan’s misunderstandings, all because of Rumi, go on even after their marriage.

Do these misunderstandings make or break Imaan and Affan’s marriage? Does Rumi ever become rich, just like she always dreamt of? The rest of the story deals with it. The story reveals the true nature of people like Rumi who are filled with jealousy and hate due to their insecurities.
