Gurez is a Pakistani drama that aired on PTV in 1991.

A millionaire, who has built a vast business empire, wishes to have a son. But, his wife delivers a girl, and dies. So, he hates his child, whom he thinks is the reason for his wife’s death. He marries for the second time, and his second wife, too, delivers two girls. To get a son, he marries for the third time. He finds his third wife to be an opportunist and greedy. Soon, he suffers a heart attack. His daughters take care of him well, especially the elder daughter, whom he hates a lot. She started managing his business, which started failing. Will she succeed in her business and win her father’s love? The rest of the series focuses on this.
