The story revolves around the male and female leads of the show, Irsa and Kamal.

Because of certain challenging conditions, they had to marry each other. The difference in their characters, choices, desires, socioeconomic background, and mainly the age gap made Irsa and Kamal look like misfits to each other and the people. Being in her youth, Isra wants a luxurious life, and being in his mid-age, Kamal wants an end to his loneliness.

The marriage seemed to solve their problems, and for a few days, Isra enjoyed the arrangement as it provided her with luxuries. But soon, her life was complicated by the intrusion of her past, her loveless marriage, her stepdaughter, and the entry of a young as well as rich man, Daniyal, who was played by Adeel Chaudhry There may be various reasons not to make it obvio >> Read More... , thus making her realize that money doesn’t buy happiness and peace in life.

The story then proceeds to see whether, despite being together, Kamal and Isra would be able to know what value they hold in each other’s life and whether they will be able to find their true selves. The audience of Farq loved the on-screen pair of Sehar and Faysal and are eager to watch them together once again. The first episode was telecasted on 31st October 2022, every Monday and Tuesday at 08:00 PM according to Pakistan Standard Time (PKT), and the final episode got telecasted on 18th April 2023.
