The story revolves around two best friends, Maleeha and Zara, who have a friendship of 7 golden years. Both come from two different backgrounds, but it does not affect their company. Both of them have been there for each other through thick and thin. But life takes a turning point when the elder brother of Maleeha (Junaid) wishes to marry, Zara. Later, Zara’s father gets imprisoned, and a large amount is required for his bail. Maleeha makes a deal with Zara, that Maleeha will pay for father’s bail and in return Zara would leave Junaid. Zara agrees to the deal.

Later, in the story, Zara moves to Glasgow for her further education. As a whole, the series shows how little misunderstandings can spoil the close bonds. It changed the lives of three people: Zara, Junaid, and Maleeha.
