The serial tells the story of a young woman named Zoya and her day-to-day life. Zoya is a hard-working and kind-hearted woman who is trying to make amends in her family as well as trying to save it from probable bankruptcy. Her father Asfand runs a restaurant in Karachi named ‘Alfonso’ while her mother is an artist in Florida. Both of them have some kind of tension between each other which Zoya hates and is determined to solve it. The restaurant is almost on the verge of closing down and going in ruins but she takes up the task to not let that happen.

She takes the reins upon her hands with the help of friends and hence begins her journey. The serial tells a simple tale of raw human emotions and how we tend to manage stuff even when everything seems to be far out of reach. It tells us the importance of family and support of friends via a sequence of hilarious events which makes us reminiscence of old happy times that we spend with our close ones.

The serial doesn’t focus on the trendy trope of business tycoons and landlords or any typical story but a beautiful tale which focuses purely on nature of human emotions like belonging and compassion. It also sheds light on the important topics of politics, patriotism and cultural diversity in Karachi. Overall, this serial is the perfect balance between humour and drama in the everyday life of a common girl who is trying to make ends meet and survive in life with making her parents proud and happy and is definitely worth the watch.
