The Telegu TV serial Prathibimbalu was aired on the ETV Telugu channel. Prathibimbalu centres on the life of a couple, their difficulties, and their love for each other that survives despite all hurdles. Prathibimbalu is the story of every arranged marriage between unequal; the simpleton village girl and the educated city boy. The marriage, though, was done with mutual interest. It was far from perfect. The marital bliss was temporary with problems created by the jealous relative, easily swayed in-laws, and frustrated husband.
The wife at the centre of all the hellfire was consumed. She leaves her newborn and husband. Her absence makes the husband realise her value. The story follows the life of an innocent woman as she pulls her weight through the swirl of lies, deception, viciousness, jealousy and hatred; all the while fighting her feelings of love from overstepping her from protecting her self-esteem as a woman. Pratibimbalu is one of the most loved serials and is still a hit among the audience who prefer quality over quantity.
