Sunil Mehta and Prem Krishen Malhotra are the producers. Hanoz V. K. is working as the cinematographer, and Ganga Kacharla and Amit Singh are the editors. Cinevistaas Limited is the banner that is producing the drama. Sony Pictures Networks is the holder of the distribution rights of the serial. The program introduces us to Maya Malhotra, who is a business-minded woman and owns the fashion magazine. Simultaneously, the plot introduces us to Arjun Sharma, who is very laid back and relaxed. However, photography is his passion. His best friend is Saanjh Mathur. They both share a very close and friendly relationship. Arjun also has a half-brother, whom he adoers, and a mother, with whom he has a strained relationship.

Saanjh tries to improve his relationship with her with small gestures but hasn't been able to make a huge difference. She works under Maya and has feelings for Arjun but hasn't yet confessed to him about it. As a result, he is unaware of Saanjh's true feelings, but Arjun's brother knows about it. He helps Saanjh and encourages her to confess to Arjun. Meanwhile, Arjun takes up a job under Maya, and after the initial conflicts they warm up to each other. Maya has had an abusive childhood which has made her a control freak, and psychotic.

She realizes that Arjun helps her get over her anxiety and so she falls in love with him. But soon her love takes an evil turn as Maya becomes possessive and obsessive about Arjun and starts to get jealous of anyone who is close to Arjun. She envies Saanjh the most and tries to create problems in their relationship. Will Maya continue to break havoc in other people's lives for the sake of Arjun? What exactly happened in her childhood? How will Arjun react when he comes to know about Maya's reality and her deed?

Will Maya mend her ways or will she lose Arjun to her conniving ways? The show contains answers to all these questions and much more twists and turns. Jennifer Winget and Kushal Tandon play the role of Maya and Arjun respectively. Aneri Vajani essays the role of Saanjh. Sumit Bhardwaj enacts as Arjun's half-brother. The show runs on the Gemini TV, every week from Monday to Saturday at eight in the evening.
