Maamagaru is a Telugu series that started airing on Star Maa on 11^th September 2023. It aired from Monday to Saturday at 6:30 pm.

Ganga belongs to a humble family. She is a graduate who wants to support her family forever. Meanwhile, Chengayya’s son Gangadharan, who quit his studies in the middle, had been working as an electrician. As his father scolds him often, he tries to get a job abroad and move out of his house. To get a good job, he had to forge his certificates. So, he tried to forge Ganga’s certificate, which she found out about that and complained about him, resulting in Gangadharan’s passport ban. Chengayya is a chauvinist who doesn’t want women at his home to be educated more. As he wants to settle Gangadharan, he fixes his wedding with his niece, who rejects the proposal. As he helps his friend, who is in need, his friend agrees to make his elder daughter, Chengayya’s daughter-in-law. However, he gets an assurance from Chengayya that he should allow his daughter to study further and get a job. Chengayya fake promises him and arranges for the marriage. Only at the time of marriage Gangadharan looks at the bride, who is none other than Ganga, who was the reason for his passport ban. Will Gangadharan lead a happy life with Ganga?  Will Chengayya keep up his promise? The rest of the series follows this.
