Prasadham is a Tamil show on Jaya TV. The satellite channel, Jaya TV curates premium content on regional Tamil TV and also to the Tamilian diaspora. Prasadham is a cooking show that premiered in 2019. It is hosted by Lalita. The host and in-house cook, Lalita, cook up recipes for prasadam. Prasadam, meaning ‘sacred food’, is the food offered by the devotees to their deities. During the show,Lalita prepares various traditional offerings and gives a backdrop to the food being prepared. She also talks about the way to present the prasadam and also about the traditions involved, how they have grown and the need to carry on the culture ahead.
