Nalabagam is a Tamil language TV show that aired on the channel Mega TV. It premiered on television for half an hour at 10 am. The show is re-telecasted on the same day at 10 pm. Nalabagam is a cookery show that features different restaurants around Tamil Nadu. In each episode, the anchor visits a different restaurant/dhaba/food joint and interacts with the chef of the place while learning the recipe of a variety of dishes. The most common search on the internet is for food items. Before the availability of the internet and for long after that, cookery shows were a bit hit on the television.
