Chakra Vyugam is a Tamil serial broadcast on the Colors TV channel. In the first episode a woman named Lakshmi is shown getting married to Sreedhar. She serves Sreedhar’s parents and fully her new family. Sreedhar and Lakshmi have a son together who is now five years old. One day Lakshmi accidentally stops in front of an apartment’s parking to get an auto-rickshaw when she sees her husband’s car parked there. She asks her husband about coming home what he was doing there. He says that he was dealing with a client there. This plants the seed of doubt in her mind. She calls him one day to ask where he was, and he lies by saying that he is in the office while his car is standing right in front of Lakshmi, in the same apartment. She asks him where he was when he comes home. She hires a private detective and he starts doing his investigations. He shows her the pictures of Anandi Prem, her co-worker with whom Sreedhar is in relationship. Sreedhar wants divorce from Lakshmi. Lakshmi plans to kill Sreedhar using a serial killer but little does she knows that Sreedhar and Anandi are also plotting against her. Lakshmi plans to bring Anandi to a mountainside to kill her but Anandi has already kept her thugs there.

Anandi throws Lakshmi and kills her but she gets the news that Sreedhar has also died. In the second episode a college girl named Anjali is introduced. She meets a man and falls in love with him. She starts going to parties with him and following his footsteps. He introduces her to drug and tells her that she would enjoy these. She wakes up in her home the next day, not knowing what happened with her after she smoked the drug. Anjali’s boyfriend starts applying her injections of drugs and she wakes up after nights of blackouts. Her parents call a doctor. Despite this, she still goes out with him to every drugs party. Soon she gets addicted to this stuff and cannot survive a single minute without drugs. She starts getting hallucinations. But one day she confronts her friend about his cycle she has gotten herself stuck into. When she tells her boyfriend that she would not continue this, he blackmails her with her inappropriate pictures. When he drugged her, he took these pictures. What will Anjali do now? All of these episodes have a different story.
