Arivom Ayiram is a Tamil cartoon series. It airs on the Chutti TVl. It has more than 1000 episodes. One of the episodes is a Japanese cartoon, which has been dubbed in Tamil. It comes under the genres of comedy and animation. The story of the series revolves around a small family. The family includes parents and two small kids- Nandu and Minikutty. Nandu is a little boy, while Minikutty is just a toddler. Nandu and Minikutty are naughty children. Nandu is clever compared to other kids. He has big dreams, and he likes to trouble people with mischievous pranks. However, Minikutty, who has not started talking yet, is more mischievous than Nandu. Mini and Nandu have a bitter-sweet relationship.
Minikutty creates situations that land her in trouble while his brother, Nandu gets blamed for it. Nandu has a very loving family. His father is a sweet man who believes that kids are designed to create a ruckus. Often, the father gets blamed for spoiling the kids. Nandu’s mother is a strict woman. She creates rules for the kids in the house but Nandu finds loopholes around it through funny ways. This creates hilarious situations. Nandu’s mother, like a typical woman, loves shopping and sales. As Nandu and his sister are very young, they do not misunderstand the conversations of the adults and act upon them. The confusion creates comical events. The show is based on the everyday life of a nuclear family. The program presents the nuances of the family in a witty and amusing way.
