The story opens with a young man named Kiriputha having a nightmare. A spirit in the Nuga tree behind his house influences him to stop his father's attempt to cut it down. Kiriputha ends up killing the man hired to cut the tree, Hethuhami. The drama depicts a local New Year celebration where a boy racing bicycles gets into a planned accident by his enemies. It also follows a school teacher trying to change mindsets and the challenges he faces. Through inspiring dialogue, it aims to make audiences think beyond standard realities and see the natural world in a new light.
