Poojana Dandeniya is an Indian actor who predominantly works in the Sinhala language movies and plays. Dandeniya has been working in the industry for almost more than a decade now. Initially, he was majorly doing theatre and Television only but later he tried his hands in movies as well. Poojana has done several plays and portrayed a diverse range of challenging roles throughout his career. He has worked in several Television commercials as well. Poojana got all praised for his teledramas such as Sakarma and Once Upon a Time in Colombo. He is known for movies such as Sihina Sameekarna (2023), Giridevi (2020) and Thriloka (2018). Poojana is best known for his portrayal in Thespo: Stage Theatre Group’s Walking Path. His drama Sakarma earned him the award for Best Supporting actor in 2021.
