Roshan Pilapitiya was born on 21 March 1975 in Hanguranketha city, near Kandy, Sri Lanka. He resides in Colombo, Sri Lanka. He has been active as an Actor and Singer in the entertainment industry since 1988. His father is Ariya Abhayasinghe, a tea plantation owner.
