Sooryaloka Dayaruwan is a renowned young Sri Lankan actor and music department specialist. He debuted in the Sinhala film industry with a musical drama film, Butterfly Symphony, in 2013. Sooryaloka appeared with the co-stars Yashoda Wimaladharma, Uddika Premarathna, and Pubudu Chathuranga in the movie released on 4 October 2013. In 2017 Sooryaloka worked in Sujeewa Gunarthne's Kaala, starring Mahendra Perera, Madani Malwaththa, and W. Jayasiri. Sarungal in 2018 is another hit by Sooryaloka Dayaruwan, directed by Nalaka Withange.
The rom-com film starred Charith Abeysinghe, Chamathka Lakmini, and Saranga Disasekara. He also worked in several Sinhala Tv series like Thanamalvila Kollek (2020), Divithura (2021), and Sakarma (2021). The latest hit projects in which Sooryaloka Dayaruwan played notable roles are Happy Birthday by Aruna Jayawardana and MonaLisa by Eranga Senarathna in 2022. He is working on several new films which are under production and will release soon.
