The story revolves around the life of a married couple, Dinkar Khare (Dinu) and Mala. Dinu and Mala belong to the working middle-class category. Dinu is working in an office. He is tired of his wife Mala's outbursts because she thinks he's useless and reckless. Dinu is having a hard time dealing with his daily life problems.
