Chandralekha, a girl with a strong will and a determined woman, was in an abusive marriage for years, and finally, with lots of hardship, she managed to escape from her abusive, evil, and cruel husband. After this great escape, she reaches Mumbai, the city of dreams, to start a fresh life.

She still has nightmares from the past, and now she has no faith left on anyone, especially mens even her family has denied to help her out in any way and she deeply wishes to leave and forget her painful past behind, and seeks and desires to create a new life for herself. However, her journey takes an unexpected but beautiful turn when she meets Manas, a kind, charming, gentle and handsome individual who helps her find a place to settle and start her life from a new point of view. Slowly and gradually, Chandralekha and Manas develop a close and intimate friendship, making them closer and leading to a strong and deep bond. Chandralekha finds herself falling in love with him, but her past keeps on reminding her that she is not capable of love and that it will not let her go.

Unfortunately, her husband, who had been searching for her, one day finds her out and threatens her that he will destroy her happiness and may even put Manav in danger. Chandralekha now has to confront her past and face her husband's evil intention to protect her future and Manas. Will she be able to overcome the challenges and start a new life or will her past haunt her forever? Will Manas still love her after knowing her past? How evil her husband turns out to be?
