Prajakta is a young girl in the village who helps her neighbours with all sorts of work. Her father, Ganpath, cares for her. Her father wishes to get her married soon. But Prajakta doesn’t like to leave her father alone. Ganpath’s friend visits him after a while. They had been chatting for a long time at night. In the morning, his friend found Ganpath dead. After his death, Ganpath’s friend takes Prajakta to his house. Not all welcome her with warmth. What will Prajakta do? How will she manage in the city? The rest of the story follows this.
