Jahnvi faces lots of difficulty and humiliation during her tenure at their house, but despite all the misfortune, Janhavi remains optimistic and determined.

Slowly, in later episodes, she becomes friends with Mrs. Desai's granddaughter, Riya, and becomes her best friend. Riya helps Janhavi find her own strengths and talents, which help her overcome obstacles.
