Baji is a historical drama serial that was broadcasted on Zee Marathi. The serial focuses on the life of Bajirao Peshwa who was considered as the right hand of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The serial is set in an era where the British and Peshwa were almost hell-bent to end Maratha. The serial although a historical piece is based on the novel by the author G.N.Dandekar and is quite fictional in nature.
It tells the story of an ancient India which was attacked by the British and at a time when the fortifications were taking place leading to several wars and severe politics.
