The show centers around a young married woman named Sakhi, who spends the last four days at her parent's house (saasurvaas) before returning to her marital home (Maher). Sakhi longingly believes her maher to be a paradise but soon realizes the harsh truth after returning. Initially happy to be back in her parent's comforting embrace, Sakhi soon faces turmoil as tensions arise at her husband's home. Her expectations are shattered, and what she imagined as a blissful haven turns into an unpleasant prison overnight.
A disillusioned Sakhi yearns to return to the warmth of her maternal home. Assa Maher Nako Ga Bai promises to chronicle the sweet and sour journey of Sakhi's marital life after marriage as she navigates her new reality. Created by director
