The Marathi serial revolves around a young girl named Avani and how she struggles throughout her life to be successful and uphold the reputation of the family all the while taking care of her family.

Avani Jairam Bhosle is portrayed as a young and vibrant woman who lives in a small village named Shegaon, Buldana. Originally, she wanted to pursue a medical degree but due to the sudden death of her father, her world turned upside down. Head constable Jairam Bhosle loses his life on duty while trying to control a violent mob. His family is left heartbroken and Avani soon after has to join the police training to support her family financially.

The entire family consisting of her mother Savita and elder brother Chaitya shifts to Mumbai due to Avani's new posting. However, this new shift in family dynamics with her assuming her spot as the earning member of the family along with the sudden change in her environment from a small village to a huge city leaves her overwhelmed. How she overcomes her fears and slowly but gradually overcomes all the challenges and makes a mark in her career is what constitutes the rest of the episodes.
