Kalaranjini was born in 1962 at Trivandrum, but she grew up in Chennai.  She has acted in more than 75 films. She is known for her characters in movies like Sreekrishnapurathe Nakshatratilakkam, Annorikkal, Nandanam, Swapnakoodu, Kalyanaraman, Kochi rajavu, Puthiya mukham and How Old are you.  Her parents were both theatre artists. She is the elder sister of actresses Urvashi and Kalpana, who are both very famous in the film field. She began her journey as a heroine at the age of 14 in the movie Swantham Enna Padam directed by Sreekumaran Tampi.  Under his guidance, she acted in many more movies. She was a very prominent actress in the 80’s, having acted as the heroine of all famous heroes of Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu film industry like Prem Nazir and  N.T. Rama Rao. She got married at the age of 22 in 1985, which ended in divorce a few months later. She returned to acting a year later in a movie directed by Sreekumaran Thampi. She became active in the film world from 1997 onwards, doing many supporting roles. She is a very popular teleserial actress as well. Her popular serials include Devimahatmyam, Kumkumapoovu, and Velankanni Mathavu. She is doing serials in Tamil also.

Kalaranjini has a son Prince (Ambotty) who is now a budding actor.

Shalu Menon is a Malayalam actress, who is known for her acting and dance skills. She hails from Changanaserry, Kerala. Shalu started to learn to dance from her school days. She became a dance performed from the age of five under the guidance of her grandfather “Sri Tripunithura Aravindakasha Menon “who was a famous dancer. Shalu practiced dance further under the guidance of the most eminent dance guru Regatta Girija. She later studied dance under the supervision of many famous dance teachers. 

Shalu was also a disciple of the most popular dancer “Padma Subrahmanyam” who is an Indian classical dancer, scholar, researcher, music composer, choreographer and a lot more prominent roles in the field of dance. After her studies, Shalu turned to dancing and her fame made her first entry into the film and television industry.  

She has also performed in many stage shows conducted in USA, Oman, Singapore, Malaysia and many other foreign countries. She is the principal of the dance school “Jayakerala School of performing arts which was founded by her grandfather in 1959. The schools has its various branches in different places of Kerala. Her disciples actively participate in inter-college competitions and in other stage shows. Shalu Menon has been active in the Television industry for more than ten years. Some of her movies are “British Market”, “Ennum Sambhavami Yuge Yuge”, “Grand Mother”, “Parinaamam”, “Kissaan”, “Indrajith” and “Ithu Paathiraamanal”. 

Suresh Krishna is a noted actor in the South Indian Film and movie industry who mostly works in Malayalam and Tamil TV serials and movies and is known for his portrayal of strong negative characters. Suresh Krishna was born on April 5 to Balakrishna Panicker and Parvathy who hails from Guruvayur also known as Dwarka of South in Kerala, India. Suresh Krishna was born, brought up and educated in Chennai, Tamilnadu, India.

Devan is a famous actor and political activist from Kerala. He started his career with Malayalam movies and later moved on to Tamil and Telugu movies as well. He also exploited the popularity of mini screen by lending life to many mini screen characters as well. He has been an integral part of serials such as Kudumbini telecasted by Asianet; devotional hit serials include Swami Ayyappan and Sri Padmanabhan and so on. Devan is married to Suma, daughter of the famous Malayalam film director Ramu Karyat. They have a daughter Lakshmi. He was born at Trichur is 1952 as the son of Srinivasan and Vasanta. Devan has completed his higher studies in business management. He initially worked with the renowned director Hariharan and writer M.T Vasudevan Nair to produce a movie, Vellam. But unfortunately the movie turned out as a failure and Devan took up more acting assignments to clear the debts. Devan was once known as the handsome villain in the Malayalam movie industry. But in the serials, he got the opportunity to portray positive and important roles.

Devan started his career as a hero, but had to shift later to villain roles and character roles. This handsome actor was seen in pivotal roles in recent movies like Mr.Fraud, How old are you, Mannar Mathai Speaking, Immanuel, Simhasanam, etc. Devan also started a political party named Kerala People’s Party.

Kumarakom Raghunath was once known as the superstar of Malayalam Television Industry. In 2014, Atlas Film Critics Award for television programmes awarded him the Best Actor title for playing his role in Penmanasu, a serial telecasted on Surya TV. He began his acting career as an amateur drama artist at the age of 15. By seeing his performance in the drama titled Acharya, the director of the drama, N.N. Pillai insisted him to join in his drama troupe. For the next 18 years, Kumarakom Raghunath was molded into a fine drama artist. Meanwhile, he even formed his own drama troupe named Keli. Later when serials started getting popular on Doordarshan, he began acting in the lead roles in tele serials. His first serial was with the famous director Shaji Yem. He found himself portraying versatile characters in television. Scooter was one such hit serial of his on Doordarshan. He became very popular among the television audience in the 90’s. In fact, he was called the Mammootty (Mega star of Malayalam film industry) of Tele serials. His movies include Mayaponman, Nakshatratarattu and F.I.R. Later, he took a break from acting for about six years. He came back to the Television serial industry in 2011 acting in Ammakili with movie actress Seema. He is also a part of the Serial Amma as Vidyasagar, telecasted on Asianet.

Rajesh Hebbar is a popular actor who acts in Malayalam Films and TV serials. Rajesh Hebbar was born in the year 1967 and originally hails from the Palakkad district of the Indian state of Kerala. Apart from acting, Rajesh Hebbar is also a freelance writer who has many famous and notable short stories and poetries to his credits. Rajesh Hebbar is the eldest son of his family and has a younger sister Monisha who is married and settled in the United States. Rajesh Hebbar is married to Anitha and they have three children, two daughters and a son. Rajesh Hebbar is a multitalented individual. Apart from acting, writing, He is a singer too and he was once the lead vocalist of a popular rock band in Kerala called “Primitive Knights”. Rajesh Hebbar has in his credits many popular Malayalam movies and TV serials and he has been awarded various awards such as- Asiavision award, Asianet telly awards, Kerala state film award for best actor in a supporting role and best actor categories in the years 2007, 2011 and 2012. Rajesh Hebbar has also acted in an American film titled “The Nail” which is all set for its release directed by Biju Vishwanath.
