Manju Pillai famous for her comic role in Malayalam TV serials and films is the grand daughter of yesteryear actor S.P Pillai. She is famous for her role in 'Life is Beautiful' and the TV series 'Chila Kudumba Chitrangal'.

Manju used to act in Drama competitions during her school days. She acted in 'Sthree Parvam' directed by famous play writer Soorya Krishnamurthy while she was in 10th standard. By seeing little Manju's performance on Drama's her teachers used to congratulate her and always used to bless her on her skills. As she was the granddaughter of S.P Pillai, she used to get many 'big fans' on her performance while on-stage

Manju, who never thought to get into the cine field, planned to do her graduation in Law. But with the pressure of family friends and relatives, she finally decided to do some roles on TV shows. Apart from serial acting, Manju was also seen as the judge in various reality shows that aired on TV. 

Manju debuted in the serial 'Sathyavum Mithyayum'. She got few other projects as well in TV with some famous directors in cine industry. Her role in TV soaps 'Chila Kudumba Chitrangal' and 'Life Is Beautiful' got well accepted. Her most appreciated role in teleserial was with film actor Jagadeesh in 'Life Is Beautiful'. Her role was a quirky-wit house wife who always love and do quarrel with husband. The presentation with comic touch made the serial one of the family favorite of all time.

'Thatteem Mutteem' was another big success serial that Manju acted along with KPAC Lalitha. They essayed mother-in-law/daughter-in-law characters with names Mayavatiamma and Mohanavalli. Most the episode went high ranking on TRP rating with the comic duo presence of these two leading actresses. 

Manju also acted in few critically acclaimed movies like 'Mazhayethum Munpe', 'Irattakuttikalude Achan', 'Ramanan' and with veteran director Adoor Gopalakrishnan 'Naalu Pennungal'. Manju bagged state television award twice in the year 2001 and 2003 for serial 'Devaranjini' and 'Sundaranmarum Sundarikalum' .

Bhagyalakshmi is a popular artiste who has worked in around 18 Malayalam films and has worked as a dubbing artiste in more than 2000 Malayalam Movies. Bhagyalakshmi is mostly known as a dubbing artiste who has mostly dubbed for another famous and noted Malayalam movie actress Shobhana. She is also known as Bhagyam. Bhagyalakshmi was born on November 1, 1962 to her parents Kumaran Nair and Bhargavi Amma who hails from Powaat Tharavadu Calicut and Kurupath Tharavad, Shoranur respectively in Kerala, India. She is the youngest of three siblings. She has an elder sister named Indira Nair and brother Unni Nair. Bhagyalakshmi completed her PUC degree (Pre-University Course) from Calicut before venturing into the glittering world of Malayalam movies. Bhagyalakshmi lost her parents in early childhood. Bhagyalakshmi started her career as a dubbing artiste at the tender age of 10. Aparadhi was one of her early works as a dubbing artiste. She also acted in Malayalam films. Some of her films in which she showcased her acting skills are – Manassu, Kayam, Ashtram, Gaanam, Chilambu, etc. Bhagyalakshmi has been working in the Malayalam movie industry for over 35 years now and is the one to won awards for best dubbing artiste for the maximum number of times in the history of Malayalam movies. Some of her awards she received are- Kerala State film awards in the year 1991, 2002, 1995 and 2012 for the films Ormayundayirikkanam, Kusruthikattums and many more. Bhagyalakshmi married K. Ramesh Kumar on October 1985 and they have two sons who are currently pursuing their engineering degrees in Bangalore and Chennai respectively. They duo later divorced. Bhagyalakshmi has also written her autobiography Bhagyalakshmi Swarabhedangal published in the year 2012 which won many accolades.
 

Anu Joseph is a familiar face for the Malayalam television audience as the bold and beautiful Sathyabhama from the show, Karyam Nisaram telecasted by Kairali TV. This 1985 born actress have the uncanny ability to portray somber and humor roles with the same vigor and perfection. Anu was born and brought up in the district of Kasargod in Kerala. Later she moved to Cochin to boost her career. Her family consists of father Raju Joseph, Mother Susamma, and sister Soumya. Karyam Nisaram revolves around the day to day life of a village officer Mohana Krishnan and his wife advocate Sathyabhama. 

Anu had been a great dancer and stage performer since her childhood days. She was fortunate enough to be a part of many renowned dance groups and travel around the world with famous dancers. One of the most popular faces in the Malayalam serial field, Anu Joseph was born in 1985. Though Anu was born in Kasargod, she is now settled in Ernakulam which helps to cover up her acting schedules better than the Northern most state.

Resmi Boban is a famous Malayalam TV Serial actress born in Kannur, Kerala. Her father was a bank employee due to his transfer they moved to Trivandrum, where she started her career. She is married to director Boban Samuel which was an Inter caste Marriage and now is the mother of 2 kids Nitish and Akash. Her son also acted with her, in the Movie Vinodayatra. She has been in the Industry for more than 12 years. She started her career as a compeer in Surya TV and then she started doing serials and finally entered into film Industry.

She acted in many serials like Manasuparayunna Karyangal aired in Mazhavil Manorama, Sree Krishna in Surya TV etc. She played a great role in K.K Rajeev’s Serial Peythozhiyathe. She started her film career after her marriage with Boban Samuel. Her first movie was Manasinakkara directed by Sathyan Anthikkad and written by Ranjan Pramod. She played the role of Mollykutty and was a great breakthrough in her career. Aswathy Sreekanth is a popular writer, TV host, and actress, born in Thodupuzha, Kerala, on 24^th February 1986. Her parents are Ashokan and Soma. She did her schooling at St George HSS Muthalakkodam and Govt. H.S.S. Thattakuzha. Ashwathi did her graduation in English Literature from Alphonsa College in Palai. She did her MBA in Human Resources at Mangalam College of Engineering. Aswathy started her profession as a radio jockey in Red FM 93.5. She worked for Flowers TV too. In 2010, she joined Surya TV in Cochin as a VJ. She worked there till July 2011. Aswathy married Srikanth and moved to Dubai. From July 2011 to June 2015, she worked for Radio Me in Dubai, UAE. In July 2015, she reentered the Malayalam TV and movie industry.

Keerthy is the daughter of yesteryear actress Menaka and producer 'R Suresh Kumar' who made her debut with Priyadarshan’s ‘’Geetanjali’’. Naturally, she had dreamt always to become an actress. And then she also had the support of her parents who wanted Keerthy to grow up as an actor. She never had any second thoughts about her career and she had always wanted to become an actor only. Although she is from a family where acting is the only passion, she had naturally gotten to the skin of many characters and had left a mark with each character that she had played.

Jayaraj Warrier is an Indian film actor. He mostly features in Malayalam film industry which is more commonly known as Mollywood.He is a very multi-talented person. Vinod Kovoor is an Indian actor working in Malayalam film and mini screen industry. He gained popularity among mini screen audience for his characters with “Kozhikode local slang”, like Moidu in comedy satire Marimayam broadcasted in Mazhazvil Manorama channel and Moosa in M-80 Moosa of Media One channel. Vinod started exhibiting his talent in acting early during his school days and won many prizes for mono-act and mimicry.He also won the best actor award four years in a row in Kerala Kalolsavam. He has a bachelor degree in sociology and Malayalam language and has a degree in Hotel Management.He started his professional career as a receptionist in a hotel and later left the job to become a part of a Kerala Govt initiative on HIV/AIDS awareness and prevention programme, for which he directed a documentary. His interests in folk songs motivated him to start a small folk song troupe named Grameenam, performing folk music at various stage shows in Kerala. 

Later on, Vinod along with similar talents from Calicut got together to form a troupe named Tom & Jerry, performing comedy skits scripted by Vinod, which was well received through out Kerala. These skits were also staged on various stage shows with in India and abroad. Vinod played a major role in the success of team Tom & Jerry in Amrita TV’s humorous blockbuster, Super Dupe-2.

Vinod played his debut role in Malayalam movies in 2011 as Moitheen in the National Award winning movie Adaminte Makan Abu. He played the role of Vikkan Chandran to perfection in ace director Sathyan Anthikkad’s movie, Puthiyatheerangal, in 2012. Since then Vinod has played a supportive role in many Malayalam movies and the lead role in a short film, Athe Karanathal, for which he received the Best Actor Award at the National Film Festival-2013. He received much more honors and awards, like Best Comedy Artist Award by Kerala Hasyavedi, Best Television Anchor Award by K.C.L, etc., to name a few. 

Apart from his role as an actor, Vinod has authored two books, Ekabhinaya Samaharam and Kalolsavam Monoact,  which has his scripts for mono-acting on subjects with social relevance as the content. He is also enjoys giving invited motivation talks and training for school children.

Sivakarthikeyan is a stand-up comedian, actor, and an anchor born on 17th February 1985 in Singampunari, Tamil Nadu. He was born to an Engineer father and has a sister who is a doctor. He was in Campion Anglo-Indian Higher Secondary School in his school years and graduated from JJ College of Engineering and Technology and holds a degree in B.E. Later. he went on to do MBA from Indian Institute of Planning and Management Chennai. He was participative in his college in theatre and stand-up comedy. It was the gap he had between his engineering and MBA he participated in a Star Vijay reality show, Kalakku Povathu Yaaru after he was forced by his friends and eventually won the show.

Aneesh Ravi is a Malayalam Television actor, anchor, theater artist and stage performer, who was born in Chirayinkeezhu, Kerala. He was also a theater artist and performed in “Natakayogam”, which is an old theater troupe in Trivandrum. His famous drama performance was in, “ Choonda”, which was a one-man play. His debut serial was, “ Snehatheeram” directed by Sajan and telecasted on Doordarshan. However, his real breakthrough was through the serial, “Mohanam”. He played roles in, “ Minnukettu”, which was telecasted on Surya TV, “Manasariyathe”, which was telecasted on Surya TV, and “Sthree”, telecasted on Asianet.

Sajan Palluruthy is an Indian film actor and comedian who works in the Malayalam film industry. He had started his career earlier as a mimicry artist and parody artist.

Jayasurya is a versatile actor who hailed from Kerala. Born in Thrippunithura in 1978, this actor has done varieties of characters in Malayalam films. He has also acted in a few Tamil movies. His parents are Mani and Thankam. His wife is Sarita and this couple has a daughter and a son. Oomapenninu Uriyadapayyan is the debut movie of Jayasuriya. His latest ventures are Amar Akbar Anthony, Aadu Oru Bheegara Jeeviyaanu and Lukka Chuppi. He made his debut in Tamil films through En Mana Vaanil with Kavya Madhavan. Best known in Malayalam cinema, Lal Jose is a film director and producer. He was born on 11th January 1966, in Thrissur district of Kerala. Lal started his career in the film industry as an assistant director to Kamal. In 1998, he made his directorial debut with the film titled Oru Maravathoor Kanavu. His other notable works include Classmates, Immanuel, Meesa Madhavan, Neelathaamara, etc. amongst many others. His parents are Jose and Lily and he finished is schooling from NSS KPT School and NSS College. He has two daughters with his wife, Leena. His daughters are Irine and Catherine. After he had finished graduation, he went to Chennai to pursue his goal of being in the film industry.

Sooraj Venjaramoodu was born on 30th June, 1976 in Kerala. He is an Indian actor, television presenter, and comedian. He has acted in over 250 films. His father is a retired soldier and, his mother is a housewife. Sooraj began his career as a stand-up comedian. He was successful in this and was most famous for his mockery of the Thiruvananthapuram accent. At first, when he started his acting career, he was not well- accepted by the audience.

Nivin Pauly is predominantly a Malayalam actor. Born on 11 October 1984, his debut film was Malarvaadi Art Club. The direction of this film was by Vineeth Sreenivasan and production by Dileep. Some of the other films of Nivin Pauly include Bangalore Days, Thattathin Marayathu, Premam, Oru Vadakkari Selfie etc..The films 1983 and Bangalore Days fetched him the Best Actor Award from Kerala State Film Award. Nivin holds a degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering. He is happily wedded to Rinna Joy since 2010, and they are blessed with a boy. Before taking up acting as his profession Nivin was working in Infosys for two years.

Nivin’s selection for the Malarvaadi Arts Club was not that easy. He was not one among the shortlisted actors for the audition, but when one person eventually left, Nivin was provided with a chance. Later he became an actor. From then on, Nivin worked in the movies Sevenes and Metro and some short roles in Spanish Masala and Traffic. He also worked in the music video Nenjodu Cherthu. This was a great hit in YouTube. It was the 2012 flick Thattathin Marayathu which was a turning point in Nivin’s career. It was a great hit and he was labeled the present youth sensation. Directors like Sathyan Anthikad, Aashiq Abu, Rajesh Pillai and Shyamaprasad directed Nivin. Neram was the debut film of Nivin in Tamil. Later he acted in some Malayalam films, including Bangalore Days.

The beard is a regular in some of Nivin’s films. Nivin has worked with his colleague Dileep in several Malayalam films. Nivin confesses that he was good at knowing dialogues of films by heart and telling them just like the original. Before taking up acting Nivin had no stage experience and he knew only to dance. Nivin focuses on giving his best to his films.

Dileep was born in Kerala as Gopalakrishnan Padmanabhan Pillai in the year 1968. His career started as an assistant director to Kamal. He was named as Dileep through the character he performed in his debut movie. His debut movie as a hero was in the year 1994 through Manathe Kottaaram as Dileep. Sallapam and Punjabi House made him get popularity among the Malayalam audience. Before his film entry, Dileep was a mimicry artist. He worked in Kalabhavan too.
