Anaswara Rajan is a young actress working primarily for the Malayalam cine industry. She hails from a small town, Kannur. Anaswara was interested in acting and used to participate in many cultural events and competitions in school. Being part of a local acting club, she has won many prizes there too.

Navya Nair is a familiar face on Mollywood. Navya is known for her portrayal as a native Malayali girl in her movies. Navya Nair, also known as Dhanya Veena was born on 14th October 1985. She was born to Raju and Veena in Allepey, Kerala. She is related to the famous director to K.Madhu. She completed her schooling in Bethany Balikamadom High School.

Navya was so passionate about movies that, she started her film career when she was just 16. She debuted with the film Ishtam in 2001, which was a blockbuster. There onwards her career gained a momentum, and she acted with many biggies on Malayalam screen. She shared the screen with Mammootty, Mohanlal, Suresh Gopi, Jayaram, etc., her movie Saira had been displayed at the prestigious Cannes film festival in 2007. She came to lime light as Balamani in Nandanam. She has won Kerala State award for best actress for that movie. Some other notable performances of her can be seen in Chathurangam, Vellithira, Gramophone, Jalolsavam, Parayam. She also acted few movies in Tamil and Kannada, but she has not gained craze in those fields as she gained in Mollywood.

In 2010, Navya married Santosh Menon, a Mumbai based business and they have a child named Sai Krishna. After marriage, she gave a break to movies but participated in many reality shows. She is the judge in Munch Dance Dance and Delishus Star. In 2012, she played a small role in Drishya, a Kannada movie.

Manju Warrier is a South-Indian film actress, born on November 1, 1978, in Nagercoil, Tamil Nadu, to an accountant father and a homemaker mother. She completed her schooling from Chinmaya Vidyalaya and further from Chovva Higher Secondary School, both situated at Kannur. She graduated from SN College, Kannur. Manju was only seventeen when she made her debut in the film industry with ‘Sakshyam’, a classic Malayalam drama directed by Mohan.At the age of eighteen, she worked in ‘Sallapam’, a love story by Sundar Das. In the first three years of her career, she was awarded for her work in four major films. First is with the film ‘Ee Puzhayum Kadannu’, a drama thriller starring Dileep in the lead role, won her the Kerala State Film Award, Filmfare, and the Screen-Videocon Award.

The Malayalam actor and director Basil Joseph was born on 28th of April, 1990. Basil did part of his schooling from St. Joseph Higher Secondary School, situated in Sulthan Bathery, and the rest from S. K. M. J. Higher Secondary School in Kalpetta. He completed his Bachelor’s degree from College of Engineering, Trivandrum. He is also a scriptwriter.

Midhun Manuel Thomas is a professional film director and a screenwriter in south India. He has showcased his work and skills in the Malayalam film industry. Midhun Manuel Thomas is very well known for his works in the movies Aadu which got released in the year 2015, Alamara which hit the big screens in the year 2017, Ann Maria Kalippilaanu which got released in the big screens in the year 2016, Aadu 2 which came in the year 2017 and some more. Midhun Manuel Thomas was born and brought up in Paralikkunnu which is a small village located in Kambalakkad town in the district of Wayanad in Northern Kerala, India. He was born on the 18th of the month September in the year 1983.

Antony Perumbavoor was a driver earlier in his life (he had been a driver to veteran actor Mohanlal) and later became a famous producer in the film industry. Eventually, his life took a drastic change, and he became Mohanlal’s business partner. Antony Perumbavoor owns a production house named Ashirvad Cinema and the first film that this production Studio produced was Narsimha.

His upcoming projects include Bruce Lee, Neelavelicham, Ka, Thunivu, Aaravam, Ottakomban, Christopher, Yemaha, and Chaaver.

Amal Neerad, an Indian Film Director, Producer, and Cinematographer was born on October 7, 1976 in Kollam, Kerala. He was the college union chairman for two consecutive years at Maharaja College, Ernakulam and also won the first prize in the Mahatma Gandhi University Youth Festival as a hat-trick record for Photography.

Born to C. J. Antony and Liduwa Antony in Changanassery in Kerala, Johny Antony is an Indian film director. He is well known for his comedy movies in the Malayalam film industry. Having assisted various talented directors like Thulasidas, Taha, Kamal, Jose Thomas, etc. Johny Antony has been active in Indian cinema since 1991. Johny is married to Shyni Antony since 2002 and has two beautiful daughters- Aswathi and Lakshmi with her. He completed his initial school education from St. John’s Baptist High School in Nedumkunnam and his higher education from NSS College in Changanassery. Johny started his career by assisting acclaimed Malayalam director Thulasidas in 1991 in the movie Chanchattam starring Jayaram, Urvashi, Jagathy and Manoj K Jayan.

Tovino Thomas is a well-known face in the Malayalam Film Industry. He is an eminent model and actor in Mollywood. He has a huge female fan following owing to his muscular physique and smart personality. He was voted as the most desirable man in the newspaper Kochi Times, a subset of the Times of India. He was born into a Roman Catholic family in Irinjalakuda, Kerala. His father, Ellikal Thomas, is an advocate, and he has an elder brother, Tingston, and a sister, Dhanya. Tovino studied in Irinjalakuda at the Don Bosco High School and then moved to Coimbatore to finish his college. He obtained his graduation degree in engineering, majoring in the field of electronics in Coimbatore from the Tamil Nadu College of Engineering. After finishing college, he started working as a software engineer at Cognizant Technology Solutions for a few years. Thomas is a fitness freak and has been modeling since his college days. He has also done endorsements for a few top brands of Kerala such as Silver storm Theme Park in Athirappilly, Indulekha Hair Care Oil, and a few others. He has also done a few short films among which his roles in Grisaille and Jaalakam were appreciated widely. Sajeevan Anthikad spotted him upon seeing these short movies and advertisements and cast him in his first movie Prabhuvinte Makkal in the year 2012.

Actor Sreenivasan is a Malayalam actor who had ruled the regional cinema graph for over 25 years and has earned the credit of having acted in over 200 films so far. But he never attributes his success even once for the quantity of films that he had done so far. He is an actor who lacked star appeal always. Instead of relying on his looks, he concentrated more on his talent that helped him carve a niche in Mollywood. The first movie, he committed was Thiranottam, but the first to release was Manjil Virinja Pookal. This movie had Poornima Jayaram as his pair and that is the debut movie in Malayalam for her too. Rajavinte Makan was the movie that made him to reach super heights. Mohan Lal is not choosey in particular character; but he acts in all types of film that give him a good performance scope.

Jayasurya is a versatile actor who hailed from Kerala. Born in Thrippunithura in 1978, this actor has done varieties of characters in Malayalam films. He has also acted in a few Tamil movies. His parents are Mani and Thankam. His wife is Sarita and this couple has a daughter and a son. Oomapenninu Uriyadapayyan is the debut movie of Jayasuriya. Swapna Koodu with Prithviraj, Meera Jasmine and Bhavana gave him a reputation. His movie Pulival Kalyanam also earned more fans for him. Kilukkam Kilukilukkam was the next version of Mohan Lal movie Kilukkam, and Jayasuriya’s performance was applauded well. Shakespeare M.A Malayalam and De Inkottu Nokkiyae, Bus Conductor, Arabikatha are some of his blockbuster movies. Sankaranum Mohananum was the film by Jayasurya, in which he appeared in 20 different getups. Cocktail was the film by him, which made his career a worthy one. Trivandrum Lodge, Husbands in Goa, Mumbai Police and Beautiful were some of his career best films. Husbands in Goa, is a comedy genre which had Lal, Praveena, Indrajith, Remya Nambeesan, Bhama and Rima Kallingal. His latest ventures are Amar Akbar Anthony, Aadu Oru Bheegara Jeeviyaanu and Lukka Chuppi. He made his debut in Tamil films through En Mana Vaanil with Kavya Madhavan. He also has acted with Kamal Hassan in Vasool Raja MBBS.

Indrans, who was born as K. Surendran, is a Malayalam actor and costume designer. He has acted predominantly in many comedy films and over 250 films. He is the second child out of the seven children of Gomathi and Palavila Kochuvelu in Thiruvananthapuram, India in the year 1951. Indirans made his schooling at the Government Higher Secondary School in Kumarapuram until his fourth grade. 

Subsequently after, he assisted his uncle in his tailoring business. He participated in amateur arts and performed dramas. After this, he established a tailoring shop called Indrans, from where he got his stage name ever since he started acting in films. Indrans was debuted in Choothattam as a costume designer before he started his acting career. 

He is the cousin of the National award winning costume designer, Indrans Jayan. He got married to Santhakumari on February 23, 1985, and the couple was blessed with two children. When he debuted in the film industry, he had the chance to meet several filmmakers such as Prem Nazir, Jose Prakash, Sattar, Pappu and Jayabharathi, but he focused only in doing costume designing for many years and did small roles on the big screen. 

Later on, he started to receive many opportunities from prominent directors such as Padmarajan, Sibi Malayil, Shaji N. Karun, K. Madhu and Venu Nagavally. The 1994 Malayalam film, CID Unnikrishnan B.A. B.Ed is the turning point of his career, where he acted as the best friend of Jayaram’s character. His comedic action clicked among the audiences, and he became one of Kerala’s mainstream comedians. Since then, he became the busiest till date. 

As an actor, he used his slim and lean figure and his distinctive accent to win the attention of the audience. He made his very own style in cinema, and he never mimic the comedic acts of the veterans, Adoor Bhasi, Jagathi Sreekumar, Bahadoor and Innocent. He won the Special Jury Award at the Kerala State Film Award in 2014. Well-known directors T.V. Chandran and Adoor Gopalakrishnan offered him to appear in their films. Some of Indirans projects as a costume designer were Sammelanam, Namukku Parkkan Muthiri Thoppukal, Season, Njan Gandharvan, Sphadikam and more. He also sang in the 2004 Kadhavaseshan. 

He acted in films like Sammelanam, Aparan, Dhanam, Utsava Melam, Janam, Manathe Kottaram, Street, Mannar Mathai Speaking, The Fire, Kalavarkey, Balettan, Patham Adhyayam, Inganeyum Oral, April Fool, Cheriya Kallanum Valiya Policum, Sandwich, Killadi Raman, I Love Me, Swapaanam, Praise The Lord, Apothecary and Seconds to name a few. This year, he acted in the comical road film, Aadu, which stars Jayasurya and Oru Second Class Yathra.
