Dhanya Mary Varghese was born on September 17, 1985. She is from Koothatukulam, Kerala.  In 2012, Kerala Film Critics Award gave her the Best Actress award for her performance in Daivathinte Swantham Devootty. Dhanya got educated from St. Josephs Higher Secondary School and M.K.M. Higher Secondary School, Piravom. She did her graduation in St. Teresa’s College, Cochin. She was a dancer from her school days, and she started modeling from her college days. She was a part of the famous Kalabhavan institution at Cochin, which has contributed many great artists to Malayalam cinema. Her first performance in a movie was as a junior artist dancing for a song in the movie Swapnam Kondu Tulabharam. In 2006, she debuted as an actress in the Tamil movie Thirudi. Her first Malayalam movie was Namna directed by Sharath Chandran Wayanad in 2007. She then became the lead actress in the movie Thalappavu in 2008 in Malayalam. She is known mainly for her roles in Thalappavu, Vairam: Fight for Justice (2009), Kerala Café (2009), Nayakan (2010), and Pranayam (2011). From 2007-2011, she has acted in many television commercials. Her famous advertisements are the ones she did for Kirti diamonds, Asian paints, Prince Jewelry, Kalyan Silks, Malayala Manorama, East Tea, and Narasimham Hair Oil. She has acted in several Malayalam music videos as well. She got married to John Jacob, who is also an actor in 2011, and they have a son Johan.

Roopa Sree, the stunning actress who started her career in acting at the young age of 13 by starring in the Tamil film industry, comes from Chennai, Tamil Nadu. She is quite popular in almost all southern movies and serials as an actress. 

One of the most prominent supporting actresses in Malayalam movies, Seema Nair is another of the most versatile actresses in the Malayalam movie industry with more than 50 movies under her belt. Born in the Mundakayam village in Kottayam, to parents M.G Gopinathan Pilla and Cherthala Sumathi, Seema has a sister, Renkua Girijan who is a playback singer, and a brother, A.G Anil, who is a music director.  She is formally trained in music, having obtained her degree from R.L.V College of Music and Fine Arts, Tripunithura.

Her career with the performing arts started with her performance as a theatre artist at the age of 17, appearing in the Cochin Sanghamithra’s drama Oru Kadamkadha in 1987. From there, she has performed in over 1000 dramas on stages globally, even winning the Kerala State Amateur Drama Awards in 1992.

Her career took a positive turn when she moved from the theatre to TV serials, and then on to movies.  Her first serial role was in the show Cherappayi Kadhakal, in the role of Kocheroda. She has also acted in telefilms and participated in reality shows including Nakshthradeepangal (Kairali TV) and as a judge for the popular reality show Rasikaraja No. 1 (Surya TV), apart from featuring on popular talk shows including Valentine’s Corner, Nammal Thammil, Valkannadi, the Sreekandan Nair Show etc.

She is also a member of the Kerala Division of the Make-A-Wish foundation and is a prominent member of the charity. She organized an event in 2012, where along with artists from Malayalam film and TV including Malini, Aju Varghese, Siddique, Kailash and the Social Welfare Minister M K Muneer. 57 children were helped through the event, where they were presented with gifts from the organizers. These children suffer from HIV, Cancer, Heamophilia and other incurable diseases, and are terminal. The work carried out by Seema Nair in providing hope and joy to these children is exceptional, with some of the most touching moments including when one of the children, Reshma R, a sixth-standard student was presented with a violin, and she burst into tears. Reshma later mentioned that she cherished a dream for a long time to touch a violin.

Meghna Raj is a South Indian actress; she mainly works in Malayalam and Kannada Film Industry. She was born on 3rd May 1990 in Bangalore, Karnataka. Her father, Sundar Raj was an actor and mother, PramilaJoshaiwas an actor and producer. She graduated in psychology from Christ University in Bangalore.

Chandra Lakshman is a famous television serial and movie actress from Kerala. Born in 1983, Chandra is the only daughter of Mr. Lakshman and Mrs. Malathi. Chandra was brought up in Chennai, and she has a degree in Hotel Management. Chandra’s entry into the entertainment industry was quite unexpected. She was a strongly focusing on her career in hotel management when an acquaintance introduced her to the show business. Chandra is a well trained dancer and a veteran of several stage shows and competitions. Nithin Jake Joseph is an upcoming talented, hard-working actor mostly working in Malayalam Films and Television Serials. M. R. Gopakumar is an actor, who acts in Malayalam films and is mainly seen playing the roles of supporting characters. M. R. Gopakumar also works in Malayalam daily soap operas and has acted in over 50 films in Malayalam language. M. R. Gopakumar was also the first Indian actor to work with Hollywood’s ace director Steven Spielberg in his film A Lost World. Other than pursuing acting as a passion Gopakumar collaborated with the Postal-Accounts department of the Government of Kerala in Thiruvananthapuram, India.

Tini Tom is a famous Indian movie actor, TV awards presenter and also a mimicry artist. He was born on 1 February in 1972, and his birthname was Devassy. He began his profession as mimic.  

Nadir Shah is an Indian artist. He is famous for Mimicry, Comedy, Singing, Acting and Direction in Malayalam movies. He is also a Television Host, Music Composer and Lyricist. He was born in Kochi in Kerala. He started his career as an actor in the 1992 film ‘Kasargod Khader Bhai’. This was followed with movies like ‘Manathe Kottaram’ released in the year 1994 and also ‘Ezharakoottam’ in the year 1995. Once his acting career started to flourish, he began experimenting with his other talents like Playback Singing and Writing Lyrics for various Malayalam movies. Sudheer Karamana is a Malayalam films’ actor. Karamana Janardanan Nair’s first-born. He has two siblings, named Sunil and Sujay. He was born at Karamana in Thiruvananthapuram, and he studied at Kendriya Vidyalaya Pattom School.

Innocent Vareed Thekkethala is the real name of popular Malayalam actor Innocent Vincent. Born on 28 February 1945, Innocent is also a politician. He is an accomplished actor of Malayalam films and comedy is his strength. He delivers witty gestures, and his dialogues in the Thrissur accent is noteworthy. In fact, it is no exaggeration to tell that, Inncoent is a phenomenon in Malayalam films. Mimicking his mannerisms is like tasting sugar for mimicry artistes. His reputation is such that, he is a frequent actor of many Malayalam film directors’ films.

Aju Varghese is an Indian film actor, born to Varghese PK and Celiene Susan in the year 1985. He has a younger sister named Anju. He was born in Thiruvalla city located in Kerala. Aju completed his schooling in Rajagiri High School and further continued his studies in Bhavan’s Vidyalaya located in Ernakulum.
