Kehne Ko Humsafar Hain is back with its third season in which everything has changed. Broadcast on ZEE5, this web series third season is one with a lot of surprises. Ananya has left Rohit. Now her life revolves around Kabir, her three- year-old child with Rohit, and her work. She is living in Qatar. Her boss, Harry, who previously liked her, is now taking care of Kabir and Ananya. Ananya has left every good thing she and Rohit had shared, all the interests in music and poetry, etc. Poonam is married to Abhimanyu and living a happy life. Poonam cannot have kids which, in the past, had made her question her relationship with Abhimanyu many times. But Abhimanyu says that he does not need a baby to complete their marriage.

Meanwhile, Rohit is drowning himself in alcohol and cigarettes. He is not able to deal with his life of zero responsibilities. Rohit is living off his mother’s money. He is dating women half his age and enjoying his biker life. When Rohit came to know about Ananya’s pregnancy he came to her to ask for forgiveness. But Ananya did not forgive him and has been living alone for the past four years. Poonam has to see Rohit destroy his life doing meaningless things. The problem is that Rohit and Ananya are still not divorced. Meanwhile, Bani messes up the company Ananya had given her to manage. So she has to return to India to settle the matter. Bani shares a shocking secret with Ananya about her pregnancy. This means Ananya has to confront Rohit as well as Poonam again, the two people responsible for all her sufferings and heartbreaks. When Ananya and Rohit meet face to face again, they have a big fight in which both blame the other person for ruining each other’s life.

Rohit breaks down on meeting his son for the first time. Ananya, with the help of Harry, manages to file for mutual divorce which is refused flatly by Rohit. Harry proposes Ananya to which she agrees. Nikki has decided to get married which means the whole family has to come together. Rohit meets his son at Nikki’s wedding and wants to know why they cannot be a family. A new character Amaira, Rohit’s on and off girlfriend for two years, creates havoc in everyone’s life. She helped Rohit repay the huge amount of money which was charged on him by Ananya, on refusing the mutual divorce. Upon being rejected from Rohit, Amaira swears to destroy Rohit and his family.

Ananya never had parents which made her insecure and bitter in life from an early age. But little does she know that her mother his alive. In truth, Amaira is Ananya’s half-sister. Ananya and Amaira share a mother and they don’t even know that. During Nikki’s wedding, Amaira sends police to arrest Rohit for kidnapping of her. The wedding has to take place without Rohit. Ananya and Rohit get divorced finally. And Ananya decides to remain in Delhi to give Kabir the love of a family she never had and that family might be a dysfunctional one.
