It explored the world of the illegal drug market, drug addiction, and struggles for rehab. Its story starts with a drug addict, Shiv Mathur. Although he belongs to a reputed wealthy family, he became a victim of drug abuse. His life changes when he has a near-death experience due to a drug overdose. He got sent off to a rehabilitation center run by Doctor Shridhar Roy and his juniors, Doctor Shweta and Doctor Nakul. They are also secretly researching a mysterious substance or pill. Shiv stumbles upon this green herbal pill full of wonders.

The substance in it rejuvenates the brain cells instead of destroying them. This drug can liberate anyone from drug addiction. Everyone wanted to do something good. However, due to a crippling debt on Doctor Roy, Shiv suggests the trio sell the drug in the open market and names it “Magic.” However, the introduction of this pill greatly disrupts the drug market and shady pharmaceutical companies. Shiv and the team of doctors gained new enemies like a dangerous drug lord, Munna, and a pharma company owner, who sent an assassin named Lakda behind them. Eventually, an ambitious news reporter, Ashima, also gets interested in the pill. She believes this magical pill will fetch her the best story to boost her career and starts investigating it. The series of events happens in Mumbai, and each episode begins with a flashback of the discovery of the plant behind the pill Magic.
