Channel V launched a new dance reality show Footloose on 16th July, which promised to be an exciting fever of dance in diverse forms. It was different from the Bollywood dance routines, intense auditions, and false tears. Dance is in all of us, but for some individuals, dance is their world. The prize money was high, apart from receiving the sought-after winner’s title and an opportunity to cut an audio-visual with Channel V, an all-inclusive tour. This talent show had a set of exceptional juries. Prosenjit, Gaiti, and Uma were the commanding deans seen asserting the dancers. All three brought in their various information of dance and guided the participants.

There was a total of 4 squads consisting of four contestants each. There were 16 contestants and one big dream. Footloose was a show where the feet did the talking. The audience watched them face each other in groups or as individuals on a show where the dance was life and dance was war.
