. The production house was The Entertainment Enterprises Pvt Ltd. The anchor of the show was Manasi, an anchor and singer. It wouldn’t be an exaggeration to state that her energy is unmatched. Rock the Dhunn title track was very popular, even more than the show itself. It was sung by Shaan. Rock the Dhunn is a music show where a few singers perform a few songs in every episode. There are a limited number of singers, and they give solo songs, duets, trios, and group performances.
The show opens with the anchor, Manasi, entering with a bang by singing a popular Punjabi song. The stage is in the centre with audience seats surrounding them. After each performance, the studio audiences are given voting pads (mobile contraptions) to rate the performance of the day’s singers. They can rate them on the levels of average, good, and excellent based on how much they’ve liked the performance of each contestant.
The performance/song that received the most number of ‘excellent’s’ will win the ‘Song of the day’ title. The audiences also enjoy the performances by grooving to them, some in their seats, and some get down and do it. All in all, the show was a great success, and the viewers watched it with great enthusiasm.
