, but he wasn’t the only one cricketer to face this. Wicketkeeper and batsman Parthiv Patel were other players on whom the prank was pulled.
Parthiv, who just turned 18 at the time, was driving for an MTV shoot, at the appeal of his driver who claimed to have chest pain. He was pulled up by a bunch of actors pretending as traffic inspectors. In spite of generating his driving license, the cops claimed that he is just seventeen years old, and his license is not legitimate. Parthiv was ultimately left free, but not before being made to make an apology repetitively despite no misconduct on his part.Â
In the case of Rahul Dravid, MTV managed to break through the locker rooms. They laid a setup through a woman actor posing as a journalist from Singapore to interview Rahul Dravid. Once the interview got finished, she cracked the question of marriage. The Indian batsman’s reaction to that was epic and created a rage among people. Some of the pranks comprised a girl in a jammed lift in Rustomjee Royale pleading to a flower seller that she wants to get married right now. One of them also included how some random people are made to enter a house, with darkness and a ghost!
MTV is all the time known for its shows’ wit. They have had amazing properties before, one of the most prevalent ones being Bakra. That’s why MTV tied up with Balaji for a bigger and a better version.
