The siblings have a very strong and loving bond. Zeba and Javed have kept a big secret from their family for more than two decades. Nahir and Naved are the children of Javed and his first wife, Hina. Javed and Hina are separated, and Javed keeps his children with him as he believes Hina is incapable of becoming a mother. Javed and Zeba made a promise to never let out this secret. Hina has married for the second time. Her husband is in a coma for many years. She has a daughter, Jasmine. Hina often goes to the police station to get any updates about the information of her children.

She is desperate to see her children again. One day, she spots Zeba and discovers her address. She calls up at the Khan residence, talks to Naved, and reveals that their father disappeared with them and that she did not abandon them. Naved and Nahir are shocked to know their parents kept it a secret. Naved and Nahir want to meet her against the wishes of her father. They meet Hina and feel relieved. They want to keep a stray contact with her. It breaks the hearts of their parents. Their parents are saddened by the constant interference of Hina in their lives. It puts a distance between Naved, Nahir, and the other family members. The once united and happy family gets a fracture in their relationship. Naved and Nahir start distancing themselves from their siblings as well. It is revealed that Hina has different intentions with reconciling with her children.
