He works as a Junior officer at a multi-national company. Her wife dies recently, and he is not doing well with himself. His in-laws come up to help him manage the children, but instead they create more problems for him.
His brother-in-law falls in love with his daughter's teacher who is also his neighbor. His mother-in-law continuously nudges him regarding his responsibilities towards the children. This makes him feel very desperate, and he wishes his wife to come back. He is also facing problems at his work as the managing director of his company, and Chandrika nags him a lot about issues. However, Amar and Chandrika shares a unique relation, and they both like each other as a person. Chandrika also frequently visits his home to check on the children and manage them.
The children also loved her and childishly asks Amar to marry her. After a lot of struggles, both decides to get married. But, this decision of theirs is heavily challenged by the comeback of Amar's wife. The family soon realizes that she is fake and an intruder. This situation gives rise to a lot of comic sequences in the serial. The conversation between the characters is filled with punch lines that are capable of making the audience laugh.
The show is inspired by the sitcoms that were in a culture in the foreign countries. The makers have tried to adapt the genre and make a Hindi serial in it to entertain the audience with the comedy and punch lines.
