Janani is a serial about the journey of a single mother whose father had abandoned them in childhood. Savita, from being dependant on her husband, becomes a successful independent woman. Savita, a mother of three sons, takes care and often sacrifices her whole life after them. She thinks that her children will never abandon her just like other children do with their parents. But her world is soon disrupted when she discovers that after growing up Deven, Ravi and Anand are ungrateful for her sacrifices.
In the promo of the serial, in childhood, all three of them used to fight for sleeping with Savita. Savita chooses all three of them. While when they are grown up, they make chits to keep their mother. Deven gets to keep Savita, and he tells Ravi and Anand that they have tricked him into keeping her. Thus, Savita’s confidence or illusion will break? forms the plot. It premiered on 1st March 2021 from Monday to Friday. The serial portrays Savita as a powerful and courageous woman who faces formidable challenges.
