Dar Ki Dastak is a horror serial that airs on Hindi tv channel Dangal tv. It is an anthology series containing different stories in each episode. The serial Dar Ki Dastak started in November 2019. It airs twice a week, every Saturday and Sunday from 10.30 to 11.30 at night. The show presents spine chilling horror stories to its viewers. In the serial, actors from episode to episode keep changing. Stories and actors are often cast from all over India. Sometimes the serial presents famous Indian folk tales. These folk tales are famous all over India in the form of stories told by grandmothers to their kids. Each episode of the show comes with a different name. The episode revolves around the title of the serial. One of its episodes that was named KABRISTAN KA JIN DULHAN PAR FIDA that translates to Jennie from the cemetery who loves a bride in English. In this episode, there is a Jinnie who lives in a graveyard and haunts newly married brides.

In the serial in every episode, the characters face threats from paranormal beings. To get rid of these paranormal beings, they use different types of methods. These paranormal beings include a woman turning in to a Naagin, a ghost living on a tree who possesses the living creatures, the ghost of a person who has to complete his last wish, a bride who wears red bangles and worship evil gods. To end these ghosts and paranormal activities sometimes they invite Priests, some times they invite Maulavi, and sometimes they end them by killing them using some weapons.

In one of the episodes, there was a curse put on a family by a priest because his ancestors were bad. After knowing that the family member is facing a curse, they go on to prevent them from dying and to end the curse. At last, they find the person who cursed them and pleads to forgive them.
