Bul Bul Bagh is a Hindi serial dedicated to sacrificing the soldiers for Kashmir broadcast on the DD National channel. It is based in a small village named Bulbul Bagh in Kashmir. A woman named Janakiis traveling back in a truck to her village. Twolittle boys named Ameen and brother Gulzar are awakened by their mother Adira to study. All the families in the Bulbul Bagh read Namazeveryday. Their father has been separated from their neighborhood and feels sad as his brother,Rasheed, has become a terrorist and betrayed the village. The village has a community of Shopkeepers.Sajida, another woman of their village,gets into fits and wants to go to her son,Muneer, who was also killed during one of the attacks. The whole neighborhood knows about this and becomes worried whenever she escapes her home. The truck arrives and the woman,Janaki, consoles Sajida. Malang is a man everyone in the village is afraid of as he can make future predictions and is the Fakeer of the village,i.e., a person who guides them. He wants the villagers to organize a house boat business to help the village prosper. They think he has magical powers and can perform miracles.

He advises people not to leave Bulbul Bagh. Janaki has come back to the village after getting operated in a hospital. People thought that Janaki would have also left the village. This village is ravaged by attacks and violence. Janaki’s son and her daughter in law left her. They all wanted to leave the village but Janaki refused.Rasheed’swife died accidentally because of his attack and he tries to return to his brother but his brother throws him out of his house. He shows all the coffins of the people he killed with his gang. He asks him what he earned from this killing, as all these dead people never did any wrong to him. Police tortured the villagers and Rasheed’s brother because he did not know where his brother was. The villagers consider him dead. He lost his own family because of this.

Sara and her family are awakened at night by some noises. It is just a pigeon on the roof. Janaki loves her village. But one day, the same guns shot are heard in the village, just like the last time. Last time the police suspected the villages, but this time the police know that the people of Bulbul Bagh would not give place to any terrorist. The villagers are afraid of random attacks. Jasvir, a man, is trying to figure out why these terrorist do so, why such young kids destroy their lives and die, who taught them this? It is shown in the serial; who teaches these young kids.
