Juhi Babbar is prominent Indian television and film actress, theatre artist and director. She was born on July 20 in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh in India to Raj Babbar, a film actor known in the Hindi and Punjabi film industry and Nadira Babbar, a theatre and film actress in the Hindi cinema. Her brothers, Arya Babbar and Prateik Babbar were both working as an actor as well. Juhi got married to Bejoy Nambiar, a screenwriter and director in the Indian cinema. However, the couple got divorced in the year 2009. In the year 2011, she got remarried to the actor, Anup Soni, which was attended by their families and close friends. They met during the shoot of her mother’s play. They have a son named Imaan. The couple was invited to do Nach Baliye, but they refused to because of their baby boy.

2. Nadira Babbar
Nadira Babbar, is a renowned and extremely talented theatre actress in India. She was born on 20th January, in the year 1948 in Mumbai. Her upbringing implemented an entrenched culture into her. From the role of ‘Desdemona’ to ‘Sauteli Ma’ she had performed all her characters with equal competency and zeal. Some of her best-known roles are ‘Dali’, in ‘Jasma Odhan’, ‘Abbie’ in ‘Desire Under the Elms’, ‘Nani’ in ‘Sandhya Chhaya’.
She is also a director of plays and has portrayed few characters in Hindi cinema as well. She was attributed as the ‘victor’ of “Sangeet Natak Akademi Award” in the year 2001. The accent and manners of old Lucknow is sated into her, in spite of that her journey of life shows the frank aspect of her character. She is the first wife of the Indian Actor ‘Raj Babbar’ and the mother of ‘Juhi Babbar’ and ‘Aarya Babbar’. The family had torn down when Raj decided to marry ‘Smita Patil’. After the untimely death of Smita she decided to embrace both Raj and Prateik, her step-son. In spite of enduring the taunts of the feminists who criticized her for this decision and even ascribed her with the tag ‘doormat’ she thought from a perspective of a mother and accepted her husband back into her life....
