Bournvita Quiz Contest was one of the most famous quiz contests in India in the 1990s. The show was everyone’s favorite and well-liked among children and their parents. It started as a live show, then changed to a radio show. In this show, students from different parts of India competed against each other, and only three teams appeared on the show. Season 2 of the show aired with the same theme. It was hosted by Derek O’Brien and Saumya Tondon. The show aired for 12 weeks. Around 4200 schools participated in this show; nine schools made it to the front. Among them only three schools made it to the Grand Finals. There are two rounds in the quiz: the first round is INNINGS, and five MCQs are asked, and the second round is called Superover. After this round, the winner of the show is decided. The show ended after 12 weeks, and the winner was a group of students from BVN Delhi. The show was a great source of knowledge and happiness for the children of that time, and it still brings nostalgia to people. The BQV site is still active and encouraging people to increase their knowledge.
