The show starts with an Acting Institute in Mumbai called Mad Acting Institute. The head of the Institute is Saajid Khan, who is also the dominant teacher. He is a sarcastic and witty man. He gives acting lessons to those who have been admitted to his institute. Saajid dreams of showing his talent to the world by making his students the best actors. Unfortunately, all the joiners in his institute are underachievers. They are a misfit and a bunch of losers. They have big dreams but do not understand even an iota of acting. Saajid expects the aspiring actors to have at least the basic skills, but he is disappointed. The students, on the other hand, believe that all they need is an acting institute to achieve their dreams.

Unfortunately, Saajid has to train these defeated and wannabe people to become the best actors. There are many weird and quirky characters in his class. There are students from all over the country. One is a man from Bhatinda, Punjab, who is an overconfident man. He has zero skills in acting, yet he practices a speech for Oscar as he believes one day he will get one. There is a Bengali man who cannot speak Hindi properly. He speaks broken Hindi mixed with Bengali, which sounds funny to the audience. He is a delusional man who believes he is the next superstar of Bollywood like Amitabh Bachchan.

There is a bodybuilder who loves bulking up his body. He does not believe in acting. He thinks TV and cinema is more about action rather than acting. The hilarious interaction between these silly students and the teacher is a treat for the audience. The funny attempts in the acting of the joiners are what makes the show. Saajid’s comedic timing is perfect. His clever and sarcastic comments are the peak of comedy. This show is fit for audiences of all ages.
