Rukmini is an IPS aspirant. While she was in the IPS training, winning almost all the tests, she was thrown out of the academy and stamped as a cheater. After knowing this, her father, who supported her in her endeavours planned to get her married to a normal household where they ran a tea shop. Though shocked by her father’s decision, she agrees to get married to Sumedh, as per her father’s wish. Sumedh hadn’t even crossed the 6^th standard. Rukmini becomes a housewife, burying her dreams.
