English Web Series 3 Body Problem

3 Body Problem is an English web series that started streaming on 21st March 2024 on Netflix. It is based on Remembrance of Earth's Past written by Liu Cixin.

Ye Wenjie is an astrophysics prodigy, the daughter of the physics professor, Ye Zhetai. She witnessed her father’s death in 1966. He was murdered by the Red Guards, a militant group. In 1967, she was in Inner Mongolia’s labour camp. She has read Silent Spring, a book by Rachel Carson, an environmentalist. She understands that nothing exists alone, as per nature. She also learns the truth behind the satellite dish at the hilltop by Red Coast Base. Soon, she learns how they use the technique to communicate. In the present day, London witnesses mysterious suicides. Is there any connection between the present scenario and certain incidents that happened in the 60s?
