500 Questions is an American game show broadcast on ABC and the first season aired on May 20, 2015. The aim of the game is to answer 500 of the hardest general knowledge questions without getting three in a row wrong. Standing out from its contemporary shows it offers no saves, no helplines, and no multiple choice, making it an enduring task for the contestants and a gripping watch for its viewers.
Each contestant first answers ten rounds of 50 questions each. The first season consists of seven episodes. The average runtime is an hour. CNN journalist Richard Quest hosted the premiering season while Good Morning America weekend co-anchor and Nightline anchor Dan Harris hosted the show's second season. The American broadcast went on to spawn three international versions.
