Khamoshi is a Pakistani series that started airing on Hum TV on 23rd September 2017 and went off air on 2nd June 2018.

Arsala and Naeema are sisters who have entirely different personalities. Arsala is a humble girl, and Naeema, who is jealous of Arsala, is a greedy girl. They have a brother, Guddu, who respects and supports Arsala. When Arsala’s marriage is fixed to Atif, Naeema tries to separate them, as she is also in love with Atif. Once, Arsala and Atif were chatting at Arsala’s home. Her father, Sabir, who saw them talking, cancelled their engagement. As his income was not enough, he made his daughter Arsala a maid at his relative Mudasir’s house. He fixed the salary at Rs 30k per month. Mudasir’s wife, Haseena, ill-treats Arsala. Haseena has a friend, who asked her to send Arsala to her home as a maid, if her contract gets over. As Haseena had to go to Canada for her treatment, she agrees to her friend’s request. When Arsala visits her parents, she witnesses Atif marrying Naeema. Atif tells her that as she forgot their love, he hates her. Arsala returns to work at Haseena’s friend’s house. Jamal, her employer, harasses her. Haseena’s friend witnesses one such event, and asks Arsala to leave, as her husband, Jamal, may torture her again. Arsala meets Haseena, and asks her to suggest a job. Haseena, who was about to go to Canada again, sends Arsala to Bi Jaan’s house, where Bi Jaan lives with her son, daughter-in-law, and granddaughter. Bi Jaan’s relative, who comes to her house, falls for Arsala. What will happen next? Will he marry her and give her a peaceful life?
