Dilara is a happy-go-lucky girl. She loves Mohsin and is about to marry him soon. However, being financially weak, her father struggles to fulfill the dowry demands. One day, he meets with an accident on the road and dies. After his death, Mohsin and his family understood they could not have the hefty dowry they wanted. So, they disappeared from the life of Dilara and did not even try to contact her. Hence, the mother of Dilara, Zehra, calls them, and Dilara herself cancels the marriage for her self-respect.

Then Zehra marries her daughter to a rich Nawab Salahuddin. This Nawab is 32 years older than his young bride and lives with his sister, Khanam, and two sons from a previous marriage. Khanam always behaves strictly with Dilara and often instigates Salahuddin against the new bride. On the other hand, the sons of Nawab make fun of her. However, the elder son, Shujauddin, and Dilara gradually became closer to each other. Shujauddin is a doctor and reveals that Mohsin is his classmate, shocking Dilara. 

From then on, the already complicated life of Dilara becomes a more entangled mess with the re-entry of Dr. Mohsin into her life. She finds herself in the center of chaos- her husband, Salahuddin, who is of the same age as her father, Salahuddin's son, Shujauddin, for whom she feels something different, and her ex-lover, Mohsin, who is back to seduce her.
