Nalavathu Mudichu is a Tamil serial, which aired on Jaya TV in the early 2000s. CV Rajendran directed the series.

Vasudevan is a real estate businessman. He has three daughters, Ashwini, Jayashri, and Chithra. Ashwini is married, and her husband got a job in Dubai. Hence he leaves her with his family. Jayashri, the second daughter of Vasudevan, is waiting for a groom, who doesn’t want dowry. Chithra, the youngest is in love with a guy, and is waiting for her sister Jayashri’s marriage to be over. After Ashwini’s husband moves to Dubai, her mother-in-law, who was good so far, was induced by her mother, feels insecure. She feels that Ashwini is her son’s priority and not her. Meanwhile, a young woman searches for Vasudevan to take revenge. She tricks him and enters his house, and settles there. Vasudevan doesn’t know who she is but wishes to help her. Who is she? Why did she plots against Vasudevan? The rest of the series showcases how Vasudevan’s family was targeted and how they overcame the troubles?
