Its story revolves around Sagar (Aniket Vishwasrao) and Mukta (Priya Mengle). Sagar is a rich, spoilt brat who hails from the famous Sardesai family of the town. He is ignorant and arrogant towards everyone. He and his paternal cousin Rakesh go to the same college. Their family head is Aji, and her sons are Prabhakar and Divakar. On the other hand, Mukta is a beautiful, simple girl from a simple family. Rakesh loves Mukta. However, Mukta and Sagar started on the wrong foot. Their one argument started a cold war between them.

The matter escalated so much that Sagar ended up raping Mukta. After this horrific disaster, Sagar feels guilty and tries to console Mukta, hiding his crime from her. Later, he marries her and supports her in everything. Mukta marries him, oblivious of her perpetrator, and eventually starts leading a good life. But she could not go close to her husband due to the terrible memories of the incident. Sagar remains patient and understanding. He constantly fears getting exposed in front of Mukta. In the end, Mukta finds out the truth and leaves her husband. Since Sagar could not imagine his life without his wife, he tried to end his life. Learning about Sagar’s condition in hospital, Mukta forgives him because he has changed for good. The couple restarts their married life on a fresh note.
