This suspense drama is a fine example of a TV serial that leaves a good aftertaste. Pallavi Joshi has always been a wonderous performer and she outdoes herself in this series. The essence of a supernatural thriller is maintained, and even though it is a script that relies on components of the unseen, superstitions, bounds, and guilt, the truth that prevails is realistic. Rama is a typical Indian housewife, with a pair of lovely kids and a doting husband, Abhay Podhar. One day, she goes out to run an errand and has a near-death experience. When she returns, she finds herself in front of a building where once her house stood, with no traces of her family. The building owner, Niranjan offers her a place to stay and promises to help her out. But as it turns out, events lead to people declaring Rama as a vengeful spirit.

As the plot proceeds, it turns out, that Rama had been through a traumatic childhood and she had subconsciously suppressed her memories. Thus, an entire thread of complex relationships, emotions and judgements span out. In the end, it is revealed that Rama is in reality Vasudha. She learns her lover, Abhay had been lying to her, when she discovers that he was married and had children. While confronting him about it, he batters her self esteem by refusing to recognise their relationship. Vasudha goes through shock and claims the identity of Rama, Abhay’s actual wife and her mind efficiently create up a lie that she starts living.
