Being the most influential person in his village, he’s loaded with money on one hand and crimes on the other. Murders, extortions and blackmail are the top trios of his crime play. To top it off, the constant extra-marital affairs reflect the dirty integrity of values. Anna’s wife, Indumati on the other hand, is kind and meek. Vacchi, Anna’s sister-in-law is the only person fierce enough to stand her ground against him.

Being abolished from the family home by Anna, Vacchi, her husband Aaba and their son have to live a poverty-stricken life. This makes her bitter toward the Naik household and constantly creates problems for them. As his life of crime persists, Anna starts to hallucinate ghosts of the people he had murdered, including the one of his mistress, Shevanta who hangs herself in Anna’s courtyard, cursing the Naik family to a horrid fate. With the last bit of his crimes done, Anna finally regrets his actions but he dies an untimely suspenseful death. The series ends with the afterthought that supernatural forces were behind his death. Apoorva Nemlekar who plays Shevanta had received the Zee Marathi Utsav Natyancha Awards 2019 in the Best Character - Female category while her counterpart Madhav Abhyankar bagged the Zee Marathi Utsav Natyancha Awards 2019 for both Best Character - Male and Best Negative Role - Male categories. The series has also been dubbed in Hindi and aired by AND TV.
